Don’t miss the chance to see Gaelic Supergroup Dàimh (pronounced Dive), twice named “Folk Band of the Year” by the Scottish Traditional Music Awards and named “Best Folk Band in Europe” at Germany’s prestigious Folkherbst competition.
Formed over 20 years ago and taking the name from the Gaelic word for “kinship”, Dàimh are the un-challenged champions of straight in the eye Highland music. The band, based around West Lochaber and the Isle of Skye, has taken its contemporary version of Highland and Gaelic music to over 20 countries, setting audiences alight from Moscow to San Francisco.
Originally scheduled to perform one concert, due to the overwhelming response, Dàimh has extended its time in Tucson. Now, Dàimh will play a concert on Monday, March 31 and again on Tuesday, April 1.
COVID is still with us and the flu is on the rise, and while vaccinations and boosters have helped, many of us have underlying health issues that make it necessary to take precautions. We hope you are current with your vaccines and boosters. Please respect your fellow attendees if they wear a mask and socially distance.
