The Recollective House Concert July 18

    The Recollective, a new and exciting four piece band out of Ireland and Scotland playing traditional music (both songs and tunes) will be playing at a house concert at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, July 18th.
    [Note: there is a glitch in the events panel, so the details below are wrong. The venue is a private home, and the date and time are July 18th at 7:30 pm.]

    The band consists of:
    Calum Morrison, known for his dynamic yet rhythmic guitar playing, who has been touring with various groups such as the National Theatre of Scotland and Celtic Legends. In addition to playing the guitar and singing, he also plays the banjo, tenor guitar, bodhrán and Highland Bagpipes.

    Karen Hickey, a highly sought after fiddle player who has toured with Celtic Legends and Carlos Nunez.

    Michael Coult, whose primary instruments are flute and whistles, but is also well known on the Irish session scene as a guitar accompanist. He works extensively with the touring production, “Celtic Legends.”

    Kieran Leonard is a drummer, percussionist and Bodhrán specialist from Enniskillen, Co.Fermanagh. He made his debut as an accredited soloist recording on Academy Award winning composer John Powell’s “How to Train Your Dragon 2” soundtrack.
